Anthropic's Unreleased Mythos Model May Ship as 'Claude Fable 5'

Anthropic's frontier model Claude Mythos, until now offered only to a closed set of partners, may soon arrive as a safety-hardened public release called Claude Fable 5, according to growing chatter among developers. A checkpoint labeled "claude-fable-5" was reportedly detected in developer testing tools (Dev Mode) and backends, and the matter was discussed on the tech community Hacker News. Anthropic is scheduled to hold the third edition of its "Code with Claude" developer conference in Tokyo on June 10, and possible moves at that event are being speculated about. As of now, however, there has been no official announcement from Anthropic, and all of this rests on detected internal identifiers and UI sightings.
