Sophos Unveils Fusion, an AI-Native Defense System That Unifies Its Security Portfolio

Sophos on July 15 introduced Sophos Fusion, which it describes as the industry's first and most comprehensive AI-native cybersecurity defense system, folding endpoint, firewall, email, cloud, identity and security operations into a single open architecture. The launch reframes what was previously known as Sophos Central and positions "defense system" as a new product category distinct from the security platforms marketed by rivals.
