Anthropic and a group of investors led by private equity giants Blackstone and Hellman & Friedman have formally launched Ode with Anthropic, a roughly $1.5 billion enterprise AI services venture betting that a small team of elite engineers can replace the work of a sprawling consulting workforce. The company, unveiled on July 15, 2026, is the operating vehicle for a joint venture first announced in May and now carries an official name and brand as it moves to embed engineers inside client companies to build and run custom AI systems.
