Google DeepMind and its drug-discovery affiliate Isomorphic Labs have set out a shared approach to "bioresilience," positioning their protein-structure and molecular-design AI as tools to strengthen defenses against biological threats and accelerate the search for new medicines. The move ties together two of Alphabet's most closely watched biology efforts: DeepMind's AlphaFold structure-prediction work and Isomorphic Labs' proprietary drug-design engine.
