Boston Dynamics' humanoid robot Atlas®, part of Hyundai Motor Group, made its live debut on July 5, 2026 during the FIFA World Cup 2026™ match between Brazil and Norway at New York/New Jersey Stadium, walking out of the player tunnel to hand the match ball to the referee. The company plans to produce up to 30,000 humanoid robots annually starting in 2028.
