Chevron Corp. has signed a 20-year power supply agreement with Microsoft Corp. to deliver natural-gas-fired electricity directly to a planned data center in West Texas. First power is expected in 2028, with capacity ramping up to as much as 2.67 gigawatts (GW). The project is described as one of the largest US data center power deals.
