Britain's Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper has warned that AI developed without international rules could become a threat on the scale of Hiroshima, urging countries including the US and China to move quickly toward a global agreement on AI. The remarks came in an essay for Chatham House and an interview with The Guardian, in which Cooper said AI would be a central issue in foreign policy over the next two years.
