NVIDIA said it is rolling out functional-safety software called Halos and dedicated silicon to let humanoid AI robots operate safely near people. Drawing on safety systems built for autonomous vehicles (AV), the company aims to move beyond caged isolation toward close human-robot collaboration that includes physical contact.
