The Japanese government has decided to spell out, in a revision to its national AI strategy known as the AI Basic Plan, measures to address risks posed by high-performance AI models such as Anthropic's "Claude Mythos," positioning a review of relevant rules including the AI Act. It aims for a Cabinet decision within July.
