An open-source MCP server, "mcp-metatrader5-server," that connects AI assistants directly to MetaTrader 5 (MT5) has been released, letting tools such as Claude Desktop, Cursor and Gemini CLI fetch market data, place trades and analyze history via natural language. The repository is available on GitHub as Qoyyuum/mcp-metatrader5-server, is Python-based (Python 3.11+, uv recommended), MIT-licensed and published on PyPI.
