Developers have demonstrated that OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Sol, running inside the Cursor editor, can set up Blender's Model Context Protocol server and produce a photorealistic floating MacBook render without a human ever manually opening Blender. The demonstrations, shared in mid-July 2026, show the AI agent installing and configuring the tooling, generating the 3D model, and rendering the final image on its own.
