UC Berkeley's Hybrid Robotics group has released Berkeley Humanoid Lite, a fully open-source humanoid robot that can be built entirely from 3D-printed parts and off-the-shelf components. Its total hardware cost is under $5,000 at U.S. market prices, and it is reported to be capable of running, jumping, and teleoperated manipulation.
