Meta has entered the crowded market for AI coding and agent tools with Muse Spark 1.1, its first paid API, deploying aggressively low pricing in a bid to lure developers and companies away from rival labs rather than chase immediate profit. The multimodal reasoning model, built by Meta Superintelligence Labs, went into public preview on the Meta Model API around July 9, 2026.
