Nvidia has partnered with inference-focused AI chip startup d-Matrix to build a joint AI inference system combining its GPUs with d-Matrix's Corsair inference accelerator. The first commercial customer is AI cloud provider Parasail, with the system slated to come online in late 2026. According to reporting, the deal shows how Nvidia under Jensen Huang is adapting to a world of multiple coexisting chips by absorbing rivals rather than trying to crush them.
