Google has broadened its AI Mode search experience so users can explicitly connect it to select Google apps—starting with Gmail and Google Photos—allowing the assistant to draw on personal context to generate tailored answers and recommendations. The feature, branded "Personal Intelligence," is opt-in, off by default, and rolling out to users in the United States and many other markets.
