xAI (SpaceXAI) has begun rolling out Grok 4.5, a new model built on its large "V9" foundation model, to Grok Build, the xAI API and Console in early July 2026, following a private beta at SpaceX and Tesla. It is said to match GPT-5.5 and approach Claude Opus 4.8 on coding.
