An open-source project called COG is turning AI coding agents into a self-organizing personal knowledge system, replacing the conventional database with plain Markdown files that sync through Git version control. Short for Cognition, Obsidian and Git, the MIT-licensed tool was developed by a maker known as huytieu and has begun circulating among developers experimenting with agent-driven note-taking.
