Samsung Health Ties Cloud Sync to Consent for AI Training on Users' Health Data

Samsung Health has begun asking users to consent to the use of their health data for AI training and modelling, and the app warns that declining will cut off syncing with a Samsung account and may lead to the deletion of existing data. The new prompt, titled "Consent to the Use of Health Data for AI Training and Modelling," covers a broad set of sensitive information—including activity data, health records, medication, and menstrual cycle data—raising immediate privacy concerns among users and observers.
