iOS 27 beta 3 turns on Siri voice tuning for pace and expressivity

Apple's iOS 27 Developer Beta 3, released on July 6, 2026, activated a new feature that lets users tune the voice of its "Siri AI" assistant using two sliders: "Pace" and "Expressivity." The UI, which had displayed "Coming soon" and remained inactive in earlier betas, now actually works in Beta 3. According to a report on Beta 3, toggling on "Expressive Voices Preview" in the Siri-related section of the Settings app reveals a dedicated screen where users can adjust the tone to their liking while playing back audio demos. Siri's on-screen animation was also refreshed, adding a glow effect beneath the Siri bubble.
