On June 23, 2026, Anthropic unveiled Claude Tag, a new feature that acts as a shared team AI teammate simply by tagging @Claude in Slack, and began beta availability for Team and Enterprise plans. The general rollout follows an internal tool that started for engineering work and gradually spread across departments including product, data and support. According to Anthropic's announcement, 65% of the code its product teams write is generated by an internal version of Claude Tag.
