Moonshot AI has unveiled Kimi K3, its new flagship model that combines a 2.8-trillion-parameter Mixture-of-Experts design with native visual understanding and a one-million-token context window, and it has already claimed the top spot on a public front-end coding leaderboard. The Beijing-based startup is offering the model immediately through its API, with the model weights slated for open release by July 27, 2026.
