The Biophysical Society of Japan, based in Kyoto, has revealed plans to launch a new international scientific journal dedicated solely to papers co-authored by AI. It intends to set up a "virtual editorial office" in which AI takes part in evaluating papers within this fiscal year, and to launch the online journal in about five years.
