Power's 2026 Initial Quality Study (IQS) for the first time in 16 years. Bloomberg Opinion columnist Gautam Mukunda framed the case, in his July 2, 2026 piece "Ford Mistook AI for a Quick Fix. It's Not Alone," as a textbook example of managers treating AI as a fast-acting cure-all.
