NVIDIA and Emerald AI are moving to commercialize "power-flexible" AI factories that can adjust their electricity demand according to grid conditions. Rather than being fixed loads that only strain the grid, the concept turns data centers into assets that support the network by curbing consumption during peak demand. Emerald AI's orchestration platform "Conductor" was developed on the foundation of NVIDIA's Vera Rubin DSX AI Factory reference design.
