Samsung has walked back an alarming warning in its Samsung Health app after users complained that declining to share health data for AI training appeared to threaten deletion of their records and loss of sync functionality. The company now says that opting out only removes data collected specifically for AI development, leaving existing Samsung Health records and syncing intact.
