Microsoft has begun a limited, opt-in test of a new Copilot feature called "PC Insights" that lets Windows 11 users ask their AI assistant plain-language questions about hardware and system status, drawing on real device data pulled through Windows APIs. The experimental capability is rolling out gradually inside the Copilot on Windows app and, as of July 2026, is available only to some users in the United States rather than to every device.
