Moonshot AI, the Beijing-based startup behind the Kimi assistant, has launched Kimi K3, a 2.8-trillion-parameter model it bills as the first open-weight system at the roughly three-trillion-parameter scale, with API access available now and full model weights due to be released on July 27.
