Panasonic Holdings has set a plan to nearly quadruple its AI-related sales to roughly 2 trillion yen (about $12.5 billion) by fiscal 2030 (ending March 2031), placing energy storage systems (ESS) for AI data centers at the core of its growth strategy. The targets, laid out at an Investor Day held around June 8–9, 2026, aim to capture surging data center power demand driven by the spread of generative AI.
