NVIDIA Frames AI Infrastructure as Five Layers, With Energy at the Base

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang has framed AI infrastructure as a "five-layer cake," placing energy — not chips, data centers or models — at the very bottom. According to a message published by the company, the framing came from an interview with Sequoia Capital, built around the argument that the binding constraint of the era is "not compute, not software — watts."
