Security firm Sysdig's threat research team says it observed the first ransomware case in which a large language model (LLM) carried out the technical execution of an attack almost autonomously, naming the actor "JADEPUFFER." Even so, the infrastructure setup and target selection were still handled by humans, falling short of a fully autonomous attack.
