Firecrawl, the maker of an AI-oriented web scraping API, has released Open Scouts, an open-source tool that continuously monitors the web against conditions described in natural language and sends email alerts when matching information appears. The project was open-sourced on GitHub by co-founder Eric Ciarla between late November and early December 2025, and a hosted demo is also available.
