Meta is reported to be developing a "scheduled tasks" feature for the web version of its AI assistant Meta AI, allowing user-defined prompts and actions to run automatically at specified times or on a recurring basis. The information surfaced on July 2, 2026 as development-related findings from an inspection of the web Meta AI UI. There has been no official announcement from Meta, and the feature currently appears to be in development and unreleased.
