Anthropic has launched "Claude for Open Source," a program that offers eligible open-source software (OSS) maintainers and core contributors six months of free access to its top-tier "Claude Max 20x" plan, normally priced at about $200 per month. The program accepts up to 10,000 people and reviews applications on a rolling basis.
