OpenAI Publishes AI Jobs Transition Framework for the EU

OpenAI's Economic Research team on June 29, 2026 published a new report, "The AI Jobs Transition Framework for the EU," classifying the near-term impact of AI on the European labor market occupation by occupation. Using ESCO, the EU's official occupations-and-skills taxonomy (2,609 occupations), along with Eurostat employment data, the report sorts each occupation into four transition archetypes—growth, automation pressure, reorganization, and less immediate change.
