Meta is negotiating a potential deal worth as much as $10 billion to lease computing capacity to AI developer Anthropic, a move that would place the social media giant in the unusual role of supplier to a rival's models. The arrangement, still at the "in talks" stage, would reportedly span roughly two years and provide GPU cluster capacity to help run and train Anthropic's Claude family of models.
