Anthropic has released a beta Linux build of its Claude Desktop app, bringing native use on Ubuntu 22.04 and later and Debian 12 and later on par with macOS and Windows. Until now, the only options on Linux were the browser version and the Claude Code CLI in the terminal, with no desktop app available. The new build supports both x86_64 and arm64 architectures.
