Professionals with artificial intelligence skills are earning more than their peers across both IT and non-IT roles in India, according to a new report from job platform Naukri that also documents a sharp rise in workplace AI adoption. The findings, published in Naukri's World AI Day Report 2026, draw on a survey of roughly 27,000 professionals across more than 80 industries and 15 cities, alongside an analysis of over 300,000 job descriptions and hiring data.
