Anysphere, the startup behind the AI code editor Cursor, is developing a general-purpose personal AI agent code-named Sand, its first product aimed beyond software developers, according to a report from The Information. The move would push the company into more direct competition with Anthropic's Claude Cowork and OpenAI's ChatGPT Work as it hunts for its next wave of growth.
