Chinese tech giant Alibaba has issued an internal notice barring employees from using Anthropic's agentic AI coding tool "Claude Code" in the workplace starting July 10, 2026. Citing security concerns, it has classified the tool as "high-risk software" and directed a company-wide shift to its own tool, "Qoder."
