Fora, a New York-based platform that helps independent travel advisors run their businesses, has raised $60 million in a Series D round that lifts its post-money valuation to $1 billion, giving the five-year-old company unicorn status. The round was co-led by Forerunner Ventures and Tactile Ventures, with participation from Insight Partners and Thrive Capital, bringing Fora's total funding to $138.5 million, according to the company.
