Moonshot AI has temporarily suspended new subscriptions to its Kimi service after demand for the newly released Kimi K3 model outstripped forecasts and pushed the company's computing capacity to the brink within days of launch. The Chinese AI startup said the move is intended to protect the experience of existing subscribers, who it stressed will not be affected.
