Alibaba to Bar Staff From Using Claude Code From July 10, Steers Them to In-House Qoder

China's Alibaba Group has told employees internally that it will prohibit workplace use of Anthropic's AI coding tool "Claude Code" starting July 10, 2026. It has classified the tool as "high-risk software" on security grounds and instructed staff to switch to its own "Qoder" platform.
