On June 30, 2026, Anthropic released Claude Science, a desktop app for scientists, as a public beta. It runs on macOS and Linux and is available across the Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans. Rather than a new model, it is an "AI workbench" that recasts existing Claude models around the research workflow, handling data acquisition, analysis, visualization, paper writing, and reproducibility in a single environment.
