Nvidia has slashed its list of approved buyers across parts of Asia by more than half, tightening customer vetting in an effort to stop its advanced AI chips from being diverted into China. The chipmaker has drawn up a new "white list" of cleared purchasers and stripped out more than 50 percent of previously approved customers, according to a Financial Times report.
