Google DeepMind said on June 25, 2026 that its open-weight model family "Gemma 4" has reached 200 million cumulative downloads just 2.5 months after release. That figure is double the 100 million total recorded across the entire Gemma family at the time Gemma 3 launched — now matched by a single model generation.
