Mesh2Motion, an open-source tool built by Scott Petrovic, lets users fit a skeleton to a 3D model in the browser, auto-assign more than 150 animations, and export everything as a single GLB file. By importing a 3D model such as GLB/GLTF, choosing from a variety of skeleton types spanning humans, animals and monsters, fitting the rig and applying library animations before exporting, the whole workflow can be completed for free and fully open source, drawing wider attention.
