Open-source tool "deface" for anonymizing faces in video gains attention

An open-source command-line tool called "deface" that automatically detects and blurs human faces in videos and photos is drawing attention among developers. deface (officially: Video anonymization by face detection) uses the CenterFace deep learning model to detect faces in each video frame or still image and anonymize them with filters such as Gaussian blur or mosaic. It installs with a single pip install deface, and runs on Linux, Windows, or macOS as long as Python 3.6+ is available.
