FLARE-AI Launches to Let Anyone Report AI Chatbot Flaws

FLARE-AI (Flaw Reporting for AI), a community-driven, open-source platform that lets anyone report harmful outputs and vulnerabilities in general-purpose AI systems such as chatbots, has gone live. Developed with the help of 49 experts across 32 organizations, it was reported by WIRED on July 1, 2026. A report form is available through the demo site (ai-reports.org), where issues such as bomb-making instructions, malware generation, personal-data leaks and discriminatory outputs can reportedly be filed in about 10 minutes.
