Instacart is advancing a "physical AI" effort that puts NVIDIA's Jetson edge AI module inside its Caper Cart smart shopping carts and uses the Dynamo inference platform to speed up recommendations. The company reports a 65% reduction in whole-page ranking latency and a click-through rate improvement of more than 5%.
