Study of Firm-Level AI Spending Finds Heavy Adopters Expanded Entry-Level Hiring by 12%

Companies that invested most heavily in artificial intelligence expanded their overall payrolls by roughly 10% and their entry-level headcount by about 12% over two years, according to a new firm-level study that challenges the widespread fear that generative AI is wiping out junior jobs. The findings come from a joint working paper by the Ramp Economics Lab and Revelio Labs titled "A New Look at AI's Impact on Jobs: Firm-Level AI Spending and Workforce Adjustment."
